I think I am generally prone to exaggerating characters, taking them to a ridiculous extent. But you do also meet those people in real life who are just really awful. I don't deliberately hang around bus stations or anything to find odd people but Holloway Road is quite good for them - there are a lot of strange people wandering around Holloway Road - I don't know why. I worked in a supermarket and in the finance department of Bath University, which was the worst. It was so, so boring. All I had to do was check someone else's adding up. It was terrible. Those sort of places are great for mining for comedy though; if you borrowed someone's pen it was a complete outrage. Show less «
